Our privacy policy ensures your right to privacy as we recognise that any personal information we may collect about you will only be used for the purpose indicated in our policy. It is important to us that you are confident that any personal information that we collect from or is received by us will be treated with the appropriated respect ensuring protection of your personal information.

PAX MORTGAGES PTY LTD
PAX Mortgages is an organization that offers financial products and services within the mortgage industry. We process and assess information in respect of loan applications, then locate funders suitable to provide loans to you.
The following privacy policy covers PAX Mortgages (The Company) and all consultants representing the company.

When we refer to personal information we mean that information from which your identity is apparent. This information may include information or an opinion about you, from which your identity can reasonably be ascertained.

The completing of a loan application to our panel lenders.

We may collect personal information from you through our consultants, our website or by you contacting our office. Where reasonable and practical, we will collect your personal information directly from you.
TO WHOM WILL WE DISCLOSE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
Your personal information may be disclosed between PAX Mortgages and its consultants to enable us to conduct our business.
In the ordinary operation of our business, we may disclose your personal information with other associated organizations, such as our panel lenders, valuers, lenders mortgage insurers, surveyors, accountants, credit reporting agencies and solicitors. We will only disclose to these associated organizations that information necessary for them to perform their service. Otherwise, we will not disclose your personal information unless required by law. We do not sell customer lists to third parties.
Prior to disclosing any of your personal information to another organization, we will take all reasonable steps to satisfy ourselves that the organization is similarly committed to protecting your personal information.

As a valued client, we would naturally like to keep in touch with you. From time to time we may use your personal information to provide you with current information about market conditions, mortgage loans and other related areas of interest.

It is important to our relationship that the personal information we hold about you is accurate and up to date. During the course of our relationship with you we will ask you to inform us if any of your personal information has changed.
If you wish to make changes to your personal information, you may contact us. We will generally rely on you to assist us in informing us if the information we hold about you is inaccurate or incomplete.

COMPLAINTS AND DISPUTES
If you have any reason to believe that PAX Mortgages has breached the Privacy Policy detailed in this document, we urge you to contact us. We will investigate all complaints and respond to you within 14 days. CHANGE IN OUR PRIVACY POLICY
We may change this privacy policy from time to time, as the need arises to comply with new laws or changing market conditions. This privacy policy came in to existence when PAX Mortgages commenced business in October 2002. This privacy policy was written in accordance with changes to the Privacy Act in December 2001.
