First Home Owners Grant
At PAX we can offer assistance with any queries you may have concerning eligibility of the First Home Owners Grant, First Home Plus and First Home Plus One stamp and mortgage duty exceptions.
If you are a first home buyer you may be able to take advantage of the Federal Government's First Home Owners Grant. If eligible, you can receive upto $24,000 towards your first home. The eligibility assessment, under the First Home Owner Grant Act 2000, varies between each State and Territory.

In NSW eligible first home buyers are except from paying duty on homes priced up to $500,000 and vacant land up to $300,000. Concessions on duty are available on a sliding scale for homes priced between $500,000 and $600,000 and for vacant land priced between $300,000 and $450,000. First home buyers purchasing a home for $500,000 would be exempt from the usual duty of $17,990.00. A huge saving for any home buyer!
